 Resewing Before
 Resewing After
Re-Sewing: If a book's sewing thread has broken, it will be resewn with
an appropriate weight linen thread. Damaged cords and tapes will be replaced as well,
if necessary.

Re-backing: If a book's covers and spine have become detached,
we will reattach them by placing new cloth, leather or paper under the original material to form a new
spine. Interior hinging will be added or strengthened as part of this process.

Re-casing: If a book's binding has deteriorated so much that it is not
possible to restore it, we will re-bind the book in a period-appropriate cloth, paper or
leather case.
Titling: New leather or paper labels can be made to replace torn or
missing labels on single or multiple volumes. We use genuine gold foil, and have a variety of typefaces on
hand to match original type as closely as possible.
